Cntinue — Delete your account

Cntinue is developed by Est Normalis OÜ, Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia. What the app holds and why is set out in the privacy policy.

1. Delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Open Cntinue and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap the settings icon, then Edit Profile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. You will be asked to confirm twice, because there is no undo.

The account is erased immediately, not queued: when the app returns you to the sign-in screen it is already gone from our servers, and the copy on your phone has been wiped with it. You need a connection — the app will tell you if you have none rather than pretend it worked.

If your version of the app has no Delete account button, it predates that release — update the app, or use the email route below.

2. Or ask us by email

If you cannot get into the app, we will do it for you. Write from the email address your Cntinue account uses — that is how we know the request is yours — to admin@estnormalis.com.

If that button does nothing — not every browser has an email app to hand off to — write to admin@estnormalis.com yourself with the subject Cntinue account deletion, and tell us the email address your account uses.

3. What is deleted

Both routes do the same thing. Deleted from our servers:

And on your phone: the session ends and the local copy of your training database is wiped.

4. What survives, and why

5. How long it takes

In the app: at once. The deletion is a single operation on our servers; there is no queue and no waiting period.

By email: we reply to the address the request came from to confirm it is you, and delete the account within 30 days of that — in practice within a few days. We write to you when it is done.

6. Deleting only part of your data

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove one thing. Individual workouts, feed entries and uploaded photos can be deleted in the app. For anything the app does not let you remove, ask us at the address above and say what you want gone.

7. If you have lost access to that email address

Write to admin@estnormalis.com from any address and tell us the account's email address and roughly when you created it. We will ask for whatever else we need to be sure the account is yours before deleting anything. We would rather be slow than delete the wrong person's training history.

8. Complaints

If we do not handle your request properly you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee), or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
